1/32 B-25J Mitchell double-sided mask for HK Models
ASK masks for the HK Models B-25J Mitchell in 1/32 scale come in a double-sided version. Two identically arranged sheets cover the glazing on the outside and on the inner side of the frames.
ASK set the cut of the masks itself, following the exact shape of the glazing of the HK Models kit in 1/32 scale. Set ASK 200-M32034 from the SCALE MASK range contains an outer sheet with masks 1–67 and 90–93, grouped by the kit's clear parts (G1, G2, F10–F13), and a second sheet with the same layout for the inside of the glazing. On an aircraft with so many glazed areas the frames are clearly visible from inside, which makes masking both faces worthwhile.
The Mitchell was one of the best-known American medium bombers of the Second World War; B-25Bs became famous in April 1942 for the raid on Japan, flown from the carrier USS Hornet. The J was built in greater numbers than any other version. The masks fit the HK Models kit in 1/32 scale; the one-sided set is 200-M32033.
