    The ASK AS-27/ARN-5 antenna in 1/32 scale is CAD-designed and printed in one piece: a flanged base with bolt heads, a teardrop-shaped body and a pair of curved arms that give the antenna its typical forked shape.

    The AS-27/ARN-5 was the combined antenna of the AN/ARN-5 airborne equipment, which gave the pilot vertical guidance during instrument landings. During and after the Second World War it appeared on multi-engine USAAF and US Navy aircraft, both bombers and transports, which makes this part a natural fit for large 1/32 aircraft models.
