1/72 B-12A Bomber ‘Yellow Wings over America’

The Douglas B-12A was developed as a successor to the B-10 bomber and was among the first American bombers with an all-metal construction. It entered service in the 1930s as the U.S. Army Air Corps sought to modernize its fleet. With its distinctive yellow wings, the B-12A became an icon of pre-war American aviation. Powered by two Wright Cyclone engines, it offered improved performance over its predecessor. The aircraft was primarily used for training missions and demonstrations of airpower.
