1/48 TT-1 Pinto ‘US NAVY Trainer’
Planet Models 1/48 TT-1 Pinto 'US NAVY Trainer' is a detailed resin kit of a US jet trainer with vacuform overlay and 3D printed parts. The decals allow the construction of three orange US NAVY machines. Package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Temco TT-1 Pinto jet trainer was developed in the early 1950s for the US Navy as a transition type between piston and jet aircraft. It was a single-engine low-flying aircraft with a tandem cockpit arrangement for instructor and student, designed to train basic jet piloting. The Pinto served briefly in US NAVY service, yet made history as the first jet type with which cadets were familiar.
Planet Models 1/48th scale model combines resin parts with precision 3D printed components to ensure a high level of detail. The cockpit overlay is made using vacuform technology for maximum scale fidelity. Decals include markings for three distinctive orange US NAVY machines, typical of training aircraft of this era. The precision workmanship makes this model suitable for experienced modelers who appreciate the combination of resin and modern manufacturing techniques.
The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
