1/32 P-40 E recommended for Hasegawa

The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk (known as the Kittyhawk in British service) was one of the most widely used American fighter aircraft of World War II. It was deployed on virtually every battlefield - from the North African desert to the Pacific to China, where it became famous in the colours of the Flying Tigers. The P-40E was one of the key production versions, bringing improved armament (six .50 caliber machine guns) and better armor for the pilot. Although it was not as powerful as later types, its ruggedness, affordability, and ability to operate in harsh conditions made it a reliable tool of the Allied air forces in the first half of the war. For modelers, the P-40E is interesting not only for its iconic "shark" painted design, but also for its variety of color schemes by battlefield and unit.
