The Junkers Ju 88 was one of the most versatile and widely used Luftwaffe aircraft of World War II. Originally developed as a fast dive bomber, this multi-purpose machine was gradually adapted to the entire to a range of roles from bombing, night fighters, reconnaissance and torpedo attacks. The Ju 88 became the backbone of the German bomber force and was valued for its speed, agility and design variability. The A-4 version, introduced into production in 1940, featured an extended wing that allowed it to carry heavier loads and improved flight characteristics.

This limited edition Eduard 1/48 scale kit features the Junkers Ju 88A-4 in Schnellbomber version. It is based on high quality ICM mouldings, complete with resin wheels, coloured etched parts and masks to create a detailed and realistic model.
