Combat Patrol: Blood Angels

The Blood Angels are one of the most famous Space Marines in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Founded during the Great Crusade as IX. Legion, they carry the genetic heritage of their Primarch Sanguinius - angelic beauty, superhuman strength, but also a curse Black Rage and Red Thirst, which make them fierce warriors teetering on the edge of madness in battle. Blood Angels are known for their devotion to the Imperium, their artistic sensibilities in peacetime, and their ruthless efficiency in close combat, where their red armor and golden details symbolize both nobility and bloody vengeance.

The Combat Patrol: Blood Angels is a tactical combat patrol suitable for quick deployment and as a collection staple. The Blood Angels Captain is a command figure equipped to lead a unit on the front lines - typically with an energy sword, plasma pistol, or a combination of weapons depending on the build selected. The Sanguinary Guard are the elite unit of the Order, the personal guardians of the commanders and the embodiment of Sanguinius' legacy: they wear golden armor, jump pods, and are armed with angelus boltguns, energy weapons, or inferno pistols. Assault Intercessors form the backbone of the assault force - Space Marines specialized in close combat, equipped with chainswords and bolt pistols, ideal for taking positions and destroying the enemy in brutal contact. Blood Angels Upgrades allow units to be customized with specific heads, shoulder plates and details typical of Blood Angels, turning generic Space Marines into recognizable members of the IXth Legion.

The set is designed for playing Warhammer 40,000 in Combat Patrol mode, a format for fast-paced and balanced battles, but also serves as an excellent entry point for expanding your Blood Angels army. The combination of commander, elite unit and infantry covers basic tactical roles and allows for a variety of play styles - from aggressive assault to object control.
