Orks: Squighog Boyz

The Squighog Boyz are amongst the most frenzied and dangerous mounted units in the Ork armies of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. These heroic warriors charge into battle on the backs of massive battle squigs — aggressive, muscular and untameable creatures that are eager to crush anything in their path with their sharp fangs and horns. A combination of brutal speed, brute strength and utter fearlessness makes the Squighog Boyz a terrifying shock troop capable of breaking through even the sturdiest enemy lines.

The set contains a total of 104 plastic components, allowing you to assemble one Nob on a Smasha Squig, three Squighog Boyz and one Bomb Squig. The Nob on a Smash Squig is the unit’s commander, riding a particularly massive and dangerous beast, whilst the individual Squighog Boyz wield long spears and are ready to impale anything that crosses their path. The Bomb Squig, meanwhile, is a frenzied little creature packed with explosives, which the Orcs unleash directly into the enemy ranks. The models feature plenty of characteristic Ork details — from crude weaponry and improvised armour to the distinctive features of the squigs themselves.

The miniatures are designed in 1:56 scale, which is the standard for the Warhammer 40,000 game, and make a great addition to Ork armies as well as an interesting painting project. The richly sculpted details provide scope for practising a wide variety of painting techniques, whether it’s the texture of the squigs’ skin, the weathered metal of their armour, or their battle trophies and insignia. The set comes with 1 x 90 mm oval base, 3 x 75 mm round bases and 1 x 25 mm round base.

The models are supplied unpainted and require assembly. The pack does not contain the paints or glue required for assembly.
