1/48 F-14A Tomcat double-sided express fit mask for GWH
ASK masks for the Great Wall Hobby F-14A Tomcat in 1/48 scale come as a double-sided Express Fit set. They cover the cockpit glazing inside and out, so the frames visible from the cockpit stay clean too.
The set is ASK's own design, with mask shapes following the parts of the Great Wall Hobby F-14A Tomcat kit in 1/48 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M48222 from the SCALE MASK range carries three large shaped pane masks (1–3), angled outline strips 4–11, the small masks 12, 14 and 15 and a group of further angled strips numbered 19–30; the double-sided layout covers the glazing inside and out. The one-sided version is 200-M48221.
The F-14 was developed for the US Navy VFX programme after the collapse of the F-111B project and drew on air combat experience from the Vietnam War. It served as the Navy's primary fleet defence fighter, and from 1976 it was also delivered to Iran. The set is intended for the Great Wall Hobby plastic kit in 1/48 scale.
