1/48 GRU-7A Ejection Seats for F-14A/B Late - with seat belts (2pcs)
ASK 1/48 GRU-7A: a pair of 3D-printed ejection seats for the F-14A/B Tomcat, late version, with the belts printed directly on the seat. Recommended for the Great Wall Hobby plastic kits.
This 1/48 ASK set contains two GRU-7A ejection seats for the pilot and radar intercept officer. The late version is recognisable by its back and seat cushions with a coarse fabric texture. Shoulder and lap belts with buckles are part of the print, as are hoses, handles, riveted side plates and the rear frame with the catapult tube; the face-curtain handle loop on top is there too.
Martin-Baker GRU-7A seats were fitted to the US Navy's Grumman F-14A and F-14B Tomcat carrier fighters; only the F-14D received SJU-17 seats. ASK recommends the set for the 1/48 Great Wall Hobby Tomcat kits, where both seats are in full view under the large canopy.
