1/72 Mirage IIIC/E French Air Force part 3
ASK 1/72 Dassault Mirage IIIC/E part 3 is a decal sheet for three French Air Force aircraft: a desert-camouflaged Mirage IIIC of EC 3/10 Vexin from Djibouti (1988) and two Mirage IIIEs of EC 3/2 Alsace and EC 2/4 La Fayette.
This 1/72 ASK decal sheet offers three marking options. Mirage IIIC 3-10 LJ of EC 3/10 Vexin wears the desert camouflage used at the Djibouti base in 1988. Mirage IIIE 2-LE of EC 3/2 Alsace from Dijon-Longvic and Mirage IIIE 4-BT of EC 2/4 La Fayette from Luxeuil-Saint-Sauveur (1987) carry grey and green upper-surface camouflage.
The Mirage IIIE was the multirole and strike development of the Mirage IIIC, with a fuselage stretched by 300 mm, Cyrano II air/ground radar and a Doppler navigation radar; the French Air Force received the first production example in January 1964. The Mirage IIIC served with the Armée de l'Air until 1988. The sheet completes the series (parts 1 and 2: 200-D72025, 200-D72026).
