1/72 B-25 Mitchell Mk.II one-sided for Airfix
ASK masks for the Mitchell Mk.II (B-25) in 1/72 scale, a one-sided self-adhesive set designed for the Airfix plastic kit. They cover the glazed nose, cockpit and other clear parts from the outside; the WHEELS section holds wheel masks.
ASK developed this set itself, specifically for the clear parts of the Airfix Mitchell Mk.II (B-25) kit in 1/72 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M72023 from the SCALE MASK range contains two groups of numbered masks for the glazed nose (parts G6 and G8), a CLEAR PARTS section with masks for the F and G parts, four masks 122–125, a pair of C5 ring masks and a WHEELS section with masks C9, C10, C20 and C21. It is a one-sided set for the outer side of the glazing of the Airfix kit in 1/72 scale; the double-sided version is 200-M72024.
Mitchell Mk II was the British designation for the B-25C and B-25D; the RAF received 167 C and 371 D models. The first RAF operation with the Mitchell II took place on 22 January 1943, when six aircraft of No. 180 Squadron attacked oil installations at Ghent. Among others, it served with squadrons of No. 2 Group, the RAF's tactical medium bomber force.
