1/48 P-51D Mustang FOAM flexibel wheel bay mask for Eduard
ASK foam masks 1/48 P-51D Mustang: a flexible wheel bay mask for the Eduard plastic kit. Besides the main bays in the wing, it also covers openings on the fuselage underside, including the tailwheel bay.
ASK drew up this set itself, working directly from the parts of the 1/48 Eduard P-51D Mustang. The black foam set consists of four lettered parts: left and right (L, R) for the large main undercarriage bays at the wing root, part C for an opening on the fuselage underside and part B for the tailwheel bay. The shapes match the 1/48 Eduard kit.
The P-51D, with its bubble canopy and six 0.50 in machine guns, was the most numerous Mustang version and escorted American bombers over Europe and Japan.
