The Douglas B-18 Bolo was a twin-engine American bomber designed to replace the Martin B-10. Entering service in 1936, the B-18 became the standard bomber of the U.S. Army Air Corps during the pre-war years. The aircraft was relatively slow and less armored compared to its European counterparts, which limited its combat use during World War II. Before the war, it primarily served as a training bomber and participated in coastal defense missions. This 1/72 scale model captures the characteristic pre-war appearance and offers the opportunity to build a detailed replica with authentic markings from its service prior to 1941.
