    ASK designed this set in-house, directly around the clear parts of the Airfix Gloster Meteor F.8 kit in 1/48 scale. The sheet of set 200-M48265 from the SCALE MASK range carries two identically structured mask groups – the trio 1–3 with outline strips 4–7 and the trio 14–16 with strips 17–20 – one for the outer and one for the inner side of the glazing. Round masks 8 and 10 and small masks complete it.

    The Gloster Meteor was Britain's first jet fighter, and from 1950 to 1955 the F.8 was the mainstay of Fighter Command. It differed from the preceding F.4 by its lengthened fuselage, new tail, Martin-Baker ejection seat and blown canopy. The one-sided version of the set is 200-M48264.
