1/48 Douglas A-4 M Skyhawk Light Attack Aircraft

The Douglas A-4M Skyhawk was a light single-engine attack aircraft developed in the 1950s as a compact and affordable machine for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. The A-4M version was developed specifically for the USMC and entered service in the early 1970s. It was equipped with a more powerful Pratt & Whitney J52-P-408A engine, a new avionics system, and an improved cockpit with better ergonomics and vision. The Skyhawk featured high maneuverability, small size, and the ability to carry a wide variety of armament, making it a versatile combat aircraft.
