Vallejo Diorama FX 26322 Terrain Fixer (35ml)
The thing that holds your rocks together! Vallejo Diorama FX Terrain Fixer (26.322) is an acrylic, matt, transparent fixative with high capillarity. It is essential for realistically and permanently anchoring loose materials - sand, gravel and stones - to bases and dioramas. It is applied by capillary action (using a pipette or dispenser) and dries within 24 hours with a matte, transparent finish that preserves all the tones of the textures used. Packing: 35 ml.
When your bulk material needs discipline! Meet Vallejo Diorama FX Terrain Fixer (26.322) - a matte, transparent acrylic fixative that is an absolute must for anyanyone who works with granular textures (like all the amazing sands and stones we sell!). It's specifically designed to keep your sand and gravel where it's supposed to be, forever.
The secret is in the high capillarity of the medium. This means that you simply apply it around the edge of the texture you have poured (for example, with a pipette or dispenser) and it will soak itself in over the entire area without disturbing your carefully created terrain. This makes the whole surface solid and durable without losing its detail.
The key to a perfect terrain
Terrain Fixer dries within 24 hours to a completely transparent matte finish. This is key because it preserves the exact shades of the loose textures you have applied (no unwanted gloss or discoloration!).
The medium is ready to use directly, but you can dilute it for an even better capillary effect (for example on very fine dust): the recommended ratio is three parts fixing medium to one part Airbrush Thinner (airbrush thinner) or water. Whether you are creating the rocky surface of the moon or the sand dunes of the Sahara, Terrain Fixer will ensure that your terrain is realistic, solid and stable.
