Thousand Sons: Rubric Marines

Rubric Marines are the iconic units of the Thousand Sons faction in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. They were once powerful and psychically gifted warriors who were afflicted with the "Rubric of Ahriman", a powerful spell designed to stop the degeneration of their gene pool known as "Flesh Change". Instead, however, this spell turned against them, and all but the strongest psychics were turned to dust, their soulstheir souls trapped inside their empty but still functional cybernetic armor. Like walking tombs, the Rubric Marines are now controlled by the will of the powerful Sorcerers of the Thousand Sons and serve as a nenaive, speechless, and mindless foot soldiers who move with cold and fateful precision. They are very resilient in combat, due in part to the powerful psychic protections of Tzeentch, the God of Change, and their weapon, called inferno bolters, fire hellfire that burns through the armor of enemies with devastating efficiency.

This multi-purpose plastic kit from Games Workshop lets you build 10 Rubric Marines. Each warrior is detailed with Egyptian motifs, Tzeentch symbols, and complex patterns on their armor that reflect their ancient heritage. The set offers a wide range of options for weapons, including:

• Inferno Bolter: A standard and effective weapon for basic Rubric Marines.

• Warpflamer: A special flamethrower that engulfs enemies in devastating psychic fire.

• Soulreaper cannon: A heavy cannon for one of the warriors, providing significant firepower.

• Aspiring Sorcerer: A unit commander who is a gifted psyker and is equipped with a Force Staff and an Inferno Bolt Pistol or Warpflame Pistol.
