The Neurolictor is a specialised Tyranid organism developed to hunt isolated prey and sow chaos amongst the enemy ranks. This creature moves silently and stealthily, whilst emitting a powerful psychic field that disrupts the minds of nearby opponents, inducing panic and dulling their combat reflexes. Thanks to this ability, the Neurolictor weakens the defenders’ resistance even before it strikes itself, thus paving the way for the advancing Tyranid swarm. It is the perfect predator, combining stealth, deadly close-quarters attacks and psychic terror in a single biological weapon.
The Neurolictor model captures the typical features of Tyranid biotechnology — an elongated, muscular body, sharp chitinous blades and a distinctive head with prominent sensory organs adapted for psychic influence. The kit contains 15 plastic components and comes with a Citadel round base measuring 50 mm in diameter. The figure is designed in 1:56 scale, which is the standard for Warhammer 40,000, and offers ample scope for detailed painting, including highlighting the chitinous armour, musculature, blades and exposed tissue.
