The story of the Brandenburg Panther Division and its history as the First Division of the 26th Armoured Regiment takes place against the backdrop of the collapsing fronts of the last year and a half of the war. Finally, in February 1945, the renamed division was transferred to the Oder front near Küstrin, where the Panthers were one of the last armoured divisions to oppose the Soviet attack on Berlin.
