Eduard's Eyes of the Fleet 1/72 scale model is a limited edition of the American E-2C Hawkeye early warning aircraft. The kit is based on Hasegawa plastic parts and includes a number of accessories including etchings and decals for multiple versions. The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
The E-2C Hawkeye is an airborne early warning aircraft that has been in service with the U.S. Navy since the 1970s. With its distinctive rotating radar on the back of the fuselage, it plays a key role in air and maritime target detection, combat coordination, and air traffic control. The aircraft is deployed from aircraft carriers and has become an integral part of U.S. battle groups at sea.
Eduard Eyes of the Fleet 1/72 is a limited edition featuring Hasegawa plastic parts complemented by color photo-etched parts, masks and decals for five different machines, including attractive versions from various U.S. Navy units. Also included are a wealth of instructions and accessories to enable the construction of a highly detailed model.
The kit is suitable for more experienced modelers and offers the opportunity to create a realistic model of one of the most important machines of the modern Naval Air Service.
