AK12015 Magnet Standard Density CA Glue (20 g) is a universal cyanoacrylate adhesive of standard viscosity. It forms a strong and durable bond within seconds and is particularly suitable for small model parts with limited contact surfaces where polystyrene cement cannot be used.
Apply the CA adhesive in as small an amount as possible. Moisture on the surface and in the air triggers curing, so clean the applicator tip after use and close the container immediately. The bottle is not filled to the very top by the manufacturer, as air must remain inside for the product to function properly.
Recommended Procedure
- Degrease the contact surfaces and fit the parts together while dry.
- Apply a small drop to one surface using a toothpick or a fine applicator.
- Align the parts precisely and hold them together for a few seconds.
- Allow the bond to cure completely before subjecting it to further stress.
Curing can be accelerated using AK12026 Flash Accelerator. AK12017 Eraser helps remove cured excess; use it on plastic only briefly and in small amounts.
