Vallejo Pigment FX 73105 Natural Sienna Color (35 ml)
Vallejo Pigment FX 73105 Natural Sienna (35 ml) is a natural sienna from the Vallejo Pigment FX line. This powdered pigment is used to create realistic patina, dust, soil, rust, soot, and natural effects on models and dioramas.
Vallejo Pigment FX 73105 Natural Sienna (35 ml) is a fine powdered Vallejo Pigment FX in the shade of natural sienna. It is used to simulate dust, clay, soil, dried-on grime, wear and tear, and realistic dusting on models and dioramas.
Apply it with a dry brush for a subtle dusty effect, or mix it with a fixative or water for thicker applications of mud, soil, and dried-on traces of wear. Always remove any excess with a clean, dry brush.
Technical Information and Recommendations
- Type: fine powder pigment for model patina

- Wet application: mix with Pigment Binder 26233 or a small amount of water to achieve the desired consistency
- Surface: Looks most natural on a matte or soft satin finish
- Fixation: a fixative or a very light coat of varnish; varnish may darken the pigment and partially alter the final shade
- Combinations: Wash FX, Weathering FX, and Diorama FX
- Base colors: Model Color, Model Air, or Surface Primer
- Tools: model-making brushes
Work with the pigments gradually and in small amounts. Dry application works well for a light dusting and to even out the surface, while wet application is suitable for thicker layers, mud, rust, or deposits. Before final fixation, it’s a good idea to test the result on an inconspicuous area, as both the varnish and the fixative can make the pigment appear darker.
