AK Acrylics 3GEN Aircraft Series Zinc Chromate Yellow (17 ml)
AK Interactive 3GEN Aircraft Series AK11858 Zinc Chromate Yellow is an acrylic in the shade of yellow zinc chromate. The manufacturer counts it among the cockpit and interior colours of Second World War American aircraft.
Zinc Chromate Yellow comes from the Aircraft Series, the aviation branch of AK Interactive's 3GEN acrylics. It is a colour matching the period anti-corrosion coating, not a modelling primer, and the manufacturer designs it for brush and airbrush.
AK Interactive offers it in the AK11734 WWII US Aircraft Interior Colors set. According to the manufacturer, its six third-generation acrylics cover the cockpits and other inner surfaces of all WWII American aircraft, from USAAF to US Navy and USMC machines; besides Zinc Chromate Yellow the set includes US Interior Yellow Green, Dull Dark Green and Salmon Pink Primer, among others.
