AK Acrylics 3GEN Aircraft Series US Army Helo Drab FS 34031 (17 ml)
AK Interactive 3GEN Aircraft Series AK11872 US Army Helo Drab FS 34031 is an acrylic for models of US Army helicopters. According to the manufacturer, FS 34031 was introduced in 1985 as the new overall colour of Army helicopters.
The paint belongs to the Aircraft Series, the aviation range of AK Interactive's third-generation (3GEN) acrylics. The manufacturer designs it for brush and airbrush and notes high pigmentation, coverage and resistance across the whole generation.
AK Interactive has included it in the AK11750 US Army Helicopter Colors set with four colours for US Army helicopters from the 1960s onwards: besides FS 34031 it contains FS 34087 from the Vietnam War era, FS 30277 applied temporarily during the Gulf War and FS 34201 adopted for the CH-47F Chinook in 2009. The manufacturer recommends the set for models such as the AH-1 Cobra, AH-64 Apache, UH-1 Huey and UH-60 Black Hawk.
