1/72 Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-9 one-sided painting mask for IBG
ASK masks for the Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-9 from the IBG kit in 1/72 scale, in a one-sided self-adhesive version. Masks 1–6 cover the canopy glazing, and the WHEELS section contains six wheel masks.
This set is ASK's own design, shaped to the clear parts of the IBG Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-9 kit in 1/72 scale. The Fw 190 D, nicknamed Dora or Langnasen-Dora, replaced the BMW 801 radial with the Junkers Jumo 213 inline engine, hence its lengthened nose and fuselage. The first production D-9s went to III./JG 54 in September 1944, and according to German Wikipedia more than 1,400 of this version were built.
Sheet ASK 200-M72036 from the SCALE MASK range contains masks 1–6: the rectangular panel 1, triangular pieces 2 and 3, the narrow strip 5 and the two long curved frames 4 and 6. The WHEELS section has ring masks B22 and B23, two of each, and two small A16 masks. The set is intended for the IBG kit in 1/72 scale; 200-M72037 covers IBG's D-15.
