1/48 Ki-44-II HEI SHOKI one-sided express mask, self-adhesive and pre-cut for Hasegawa
ASK masks for the Hasegawa Ki-44-II Hei Shoki in 1/48 scale, in the one-sided self-adhesive Express version. Masks 1–10 cover the outside of the windscreen and canopy panes, the WHEELS section carries wheel masks.
ASK designs the masks specifically for the parts of the Hasegawa Ki-44-II Hei Shoki kit in 1/48 scale. One-sided set ASK 200-M48123 from the SCALE MASK range consists of one sheet with masks 1–10 for the outer side of the clear parts and a WHEELS section with four circular wheel masks and two smaller masks (kit part numbers J12 and K1). The double-sided version is 200-M48122.
The Nakajima Ki-44 Shoki army fighter (Allied codename Tojo) differed from the earlier Hayabusa in its smaller wing, more powerful engine and its focus on speed rather than agility. It served as an interceptor, among other things in the defence of the Japanese home islands. The masks fit the Hasegawa plastic kit in 1/48 scale.
