1/48 Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc double-sided express mask for Arma Hobby
ASK masks in a double-sided self-adhesive Express version, made for the Arma Hobby Hurricane Mk.IIc in 1/48 scale. EXTERIOR and INTERIOR sections cover the canopy from both sides, and a WHEELS section adds wheel masks.
ASK takes the mask shapes straight from the clear parts of the Arma Hobby kit in 1/48 scale; the set is ASK's own design. Sheet ASK 200-M48156 from the SCALE MASK range contains an EXTERIOR section with masks 1–22 – the windscreen and two groups of masks for the sliding-hood panels – and an INTERIOR section with the identically arranged masks 29–48 for the inner side. The WHEELS section holds four large circular wheel masks, 49, and two smaller masks, 50. The one-sided version is 200-M48155.
The Hurricane Mk.IIc, a version of the British Hawker Hurricane fighter powered by the Merlin XX, was armed with four 20 mm cannon. In the Second World War it served as a fighter-bomber and night fighter. The masks are intended for the Arma Hobby kit in 1/48 scale.
