1/48 Buccaneer S.2C/D one-sided mask self-adhesive, pre-cut for Airfix
ASK 1/48 Buccaneer S.2C/D one-sided pre-cut masks for the Airfix plastic kit. Masks 1–13 cover the outside of the windscreen and canopy of the two-seat cockpit, circular masks run along the sheet edge.
One-sided set ASK 200-M48098 from the SCALE MASK range comes on one sheet: thirteen numbered masks for the outer side of the clear parts and a vertical strip of circular masks marked with the Airfix kit part numbers (G21, G22, G41–G43). The double-sided version, with masks for the inside of the canopy as well, is 200-M48099.
The Blackburn Buccaneer was developed for the Royal Navy as a carrier-borne low-level strike aircraft. The S.2C and S.2D designations were carried by Fleet Air Arm aircraft, the S.2D being modified to carry Martel missiles. Buccaneers flew from aircraft carriers until 1979. The masks are shaped for the Airfix plastic kit in 1/48 scale.
