1/35 Nakajima B5N2 Type 97 double-sided express fit painting mask for Border Model
ASK masks (Express Fit, double-sided) for the Border Model Nakajima B5N2 Type 97 kit in 1/35 scale. Two sheets cover the Kate's heavily framed canopy inside and out.
The shapes and layout of the masks are ASK's own, developed directly for the parts of the Border Model Nakajima B5N2 Type 97 kit in 1/35 scale. Set ASK 200-M35016 from the SCALE MASK range comes on two sheets. The first carries masks for the outer side of the panes up to number 42, including a circular wheel mask; the second holds masks 43–81 for the inner side of the long canopy. This keeps clean the frames seen inside the cockpit, where the pilot, navigator and radio operator-gunner sat.
Type 97 Carrier Attack Bomber – the Japanese designation of the B5N – served the Imperial Japanese Navy as both a torpedo and a level bomber. At Pearl Harbor its crews took part in sinking several battleships, including USS Arizona. The double-sided set is intended for the Border Model B5N2 in 1/35 scale.
