1/32 Messerschmitt Bf 109G-2/G-4 one-sided express masks for Revell
ASK Express masks for the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-2/G-4 in 1/32 scale, one-sided and shaped for the Revell plastic kit. Masks 1–15 cover the outer face of the cockpit glazing, the WHEELS section the wheels.
ASK designs its Express masks in-house, and this set was laid out directly for the Revell Bf 109G-2/G-4 kit in 1/32 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M32050 from the SCALE MASK range contains fifteen masks for the canopy panes of the ‘Gustav’ and a WHEELS section with circular wheel masks numbered 16 and 17. The double-sided version with masks for the inner side of the frames is 200-M32051.
The Bf 109G-2 was the ‘Gustav’ version without a pressurised cockpit; the G-4 differed from it mainly in the FuG 16 VHF radio. From spring 1943 later G-4s received larger main wheels, which were often retrofitted to G-2s as well. The masks are shaped for the Revell kit in 1/32 scale.
