1/24 Spitfire Mk.IX double-sided masks for Airfix
ASK masks 1/24 Spitfire Mk.IXc for the Airfix plastic kit are double-sided. A second sheet with masks for the inner side of the glazing complements the exterior masks for the canopy, instrument panel and small clear parts.
ASK designs these masks on its own, to fit the specific parts of the Airfix kit in 1/24 scale. Set ASK 200-M24002 from the SCALE MASK range comes on two sheets. The first (EXTERIOR) matches the one-sided version 200-M24001, with masks for the cockpit glazing, the X13 instrument panel and small clear parts. The second sheet carries masks for the inner side of the frames, so the cockpit looks clean even with the hood slid back.
The masks are intended for the Airfix Spitfire Mk.IXc in 1/24 scale. The Spitfire Mk.IX with the Merlin 60-series engine appeared in 1942 and became one of the most numerous versions of this fighter.
