1/72 Radiator with open flaps for Fw 190D-9 (3d printed)
IBG 1/72 Radiator with open flaps for Fw 190D-9 is a 3D printed 1/72 scale add-on set that allows you to display the radiator of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-9 fighter aircraft with realistic open control flaps.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-9 "Dora" fighter, which entered the Luftwaffe's arsenal in 1944, was one of the mostmost powerful German fighters at the end of World War II. The new liquid-cooled Junkers Jumo 213 engine required a significantly redesigned cooling system with a characteristic annularradiator and control dampers, which on real machines were often visibly open during ground operations and flight.
The 1/72nd scale IBG add-on kit features a precision 3D printed radiator with open flaps to replace the simpler plastic parts of the basic kit. The fine details and realistic design add authenticity and bring the model closer to the actual appearance of the operating machines.
This accessory is ideal for modelers who want to highlight the technical details of "Dory" and give their model a dynamic and realistic look.
The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
