The A-20 Havoc, originally a light bomber, became the basis for a number of specialized versions due to its speed, agility and versatility. One of these was the P-70 Nighthawk, America's first night fighter, which was created by adapting the Havoc for night combat. This type was equipped with on-board radar and special armament, allowing it to effectively engage enemy targets at night. The P-70 served primarily in the Pacific theater, where it supported Allied operations, and was also used extensively to train crews on American soil.

Special Hobby's 1/72nd scale kit offers a faithful representation of this historically significant machine. Includes six frames of grey plastic parts, a frame of clear parts and decals for four variants - three combat machines deployed in the Pacific and one US training machine. The model impresses with fine surface detail, accurate shape and attractive nose art motifs that add unique character to the final build.

The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
