H2K 1/72 Nakajima J1N1-S "Gekko" 1945 is a night fighter of the Japanese Imperial Air Force from the end of World War II. The detailed 1/72 scale model includes high quality decals and accurately rendered features. The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Nakajima J1N1-S Gekko, known to the Allies by the code name "Irving", was developed as an escort fighter, but proved itself primarily as a night fighter during the war. In a modified version, the J1N1-S was armed with angled guns for attacking bombers and deployed in the battles of the Philippines and over Japan during the Allied air raids of 1945.
