Morris CS9 British Light Armored Car ‘North African Campaign’ 1/72 is a 1/72-scale resin model kit of military vehicles or equipment from CMK.
Developed before World War II, 100 units of this armored vehicle were built. It was armed with an anti-tank rifle or a machine gun. The British Army deployed some of the Morris CS9 vehicles in the Battle of France in 1940, where they were all destroyed or abandoned. The remaining vehicles were deployed in North Africa. They were assigned to the 11th Hussars Cavalry Regiment. They proved their worth there, but by the end of 1942, the worn-out vehicles had been replaced with newer models. This kit features the African variant of the Morris CS9 with desert wheels and other desert equipment, painted in the colors of the 11th Hussars Cavalry Regiment. You can build a command vehicle, a combat vehicle, and a vehicle captured by the Italian Army, complete with inscriptions. The model’s base is cast and includes a sheet of photo-etched parts and printed components.
The resin parts require trimming, test-fitting, and gluing with a suitable adhesive. Paints, glue, and tools are not typically included in the package.
Recommended accessories
