1/72 Mil Mi-24 P /Mil Mi - 35 P

The Mil Mi-24, nicknamed the "Hind", entered service in the early 1970s and became one of the most iconic combat helicopters of the Cold War. It combined the ability to carry airborne troops with high firepower, heavy armour and robust constructiongiving it a reputation for operating in extreme conditions. Over the years, the Mi-24 has undergone a series of upgrades aimed at improving the effectiveness of weapon systems, avionics and overall combat value. The Mi-24P ("Hind-F") version was equipped with a fixed 30mm GS-30-2 gun mounted on the starboard side of the fuselage, which significantly increased its destructive firepower. The latest upgrade, the Mi-35P, continues in production from 2020 and brings modern electronics, navigation and weaponry features in line with current requirements.

Italeri's 1/72 scale kit captures the distinctive shape and silhouette of this famous attack helicopter, including details of the fuselage, cabin and underwing armament. The model length is 297 mm and difficulty 2 makes it suitable for both beginners and more advanced modellers. Also included is a sheet of super decals allowing six different markings from different eras to be assembled and the user can choose between the look of the classic Mi-24P or the modern Mi-35P. The colorful instructions make it easy to navigate during the build and when choosing camouflages.
