    The De Havilland DH.100 Vampire Mk.I was one of the first British jet aircraft and the second jet fighter to enter service with the RAF. Development began during World War II, but the aircraft did not enter operational service until 1946. Its innovative design, with its mid-fuselage engine and tail spars, offered high manoeuvrability and reliable performance. The Vampire Mk.I was used not only to defend British airspace, but also as a training aircraft that prepared pilots for a new era of jet aviation. This 1/72nd scale model from Special Hobby is a detailed rendition of this historic fighter, offering modellers the opportunity to create a realistic replica of this iconic aircraft. The package does not include the paint or glue needed to assemble the model.
