1/72 3Ro Italian Truck with Viberti Tank Trailer

The Lancia 3Ro lorry was one of the most important heavy utility vehicles in the Italian Army during the Second World War. It was a robust and reliable diesel-powered vehicle that proved its worth in a wide range of roles — from transporting troops and supplies to towing artillery, as well as carrying out specialised tasks both behind the lines and in the field. Thanks to its load-carrying capacity and endurance, the 3Ro became one of the backbone transport vehicles of the Italian forces, particularly on the gruelling battlefields of North Africa and on the Eastern Front, where logistics and fuel supplies had a decisive impact on the course of operations.

In this set, the 3Ro is complemented by a Viberti fuel tanker trailer, designed for the transport of fuel. When painting, typical Italian colour schemes are usually applied, with operational soiling, dust and wear and tear consistent with deployment in the desert or in field conditions. The kit does not contain the paints or adhesives required for assembly.
