1/48 A-10C Ejection Seat ACES II excluding seat belts - recommended for GWH kit
ACES II ejection seat by ASK in 1/48 scale for the A-10C Thunderbolt II, 3D printed without seat belts. The recommended plastic kit is the GWH (Great Wall Hobby) A-10C.
The back and seat cushions have the coarse, fleece-like cover texture that sets the A-10C version apart from the earlier A-10A. Without belts, their whole surface stays exposed. The seat is a single 3D-printed part with headrest and parachute container, side handles, hoses and rear rails. ASK offers the version with the harness printed on as 200-A48106.
The upgrade to A-10C standard gave the A-10 Thunderbolt II new avionics and a digital cockpit, but the ACES II ejection seat remained. Reference shades of the real seat according to ASK: frame dark grey (FS 36231), back cushion olive green or khaki, seat cushion dark green, and the firing handle in yellow and black stripes.
