The V-55 Engine 1/35 is a detailed model of the Soviet V-55 tank engine, used in tanks like the T-55 and its upgrades. The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
MiniArt's V-55 Engine 1/35th scale model construction kit features a standalone model of a 12-cylinder dieselV-55 engine, which was installed as standard in Soviet T-55 series tanks and their export and upgraded versions. This powerful engine, displacing over 38 litres, formed the basis of reliable power for Soviet armoured vehicles during the Cold War and was also used in some types of engineer and special vehicles.
The model features finely crafted details including fans, filters, manifolds, transmission parts and other components that faithfully match the original. It is ideal as an addition to MiniArt's T-55 tank kits (especially in the open-interior versions), but can be usedcan also be used on its own - for example as part of dioramas depicting maintenance, repair or salvage operations.
The kit provides modelers with the opportunity to increase the level of realism of their projects and add dynamism to scenes from workshops or combat backgrounds.
