Das Werk DW35046 depicts the modern tracked Bundeswehr Puma infantry fighting vehicle in 1:35, representing the 2018 standard. The real Puma replaces the Marder and uses a remotely controlled unmanned turret armed with a 30 mm MK 30-2/ABM autocannon and coaxial MG4 machine gun. This is the modern tracked IFV, not the similarly named Second World War wheeled armoured car.
The kit emphasises the distinctive exterior, including detailed hedgehog-style roof protection and reproduced bar armour. Clear parts, photo-etched components and Bundeswehr decals are included. Workable tracks are assembled from individual links, allowing their run around the suspension to be set naturally.
