1/24 Hurricane II recommended for Trumpeter

Hawker Hurricane in Mk.II are one of the most important developments that expanded the original concept with higher performance and a wider range of armament and roles. The Mk.IIC and Mk.IID, not only the appearance and the more "combat" character are attractive to modelers, but also the fact that the cockpit in the large scale 1:24 scale forms a distinctive dominant feature of the whole structure. The instrument panel is the detail that is immediately visible when looking into the cockpit and often determines whether the interior looks believable.

The Yahu Models kit offers colour etched dashboards for the Hurricane II in 1:24 scale. The parts are factory-finished (in color, with crisp labels and realistic-looking alarms) and are designed to for quick assembly using the JustStick system - typically just detach the part from the planchette, test fit and glue. Compared to conventional decals or simpler plastic parts, you get a significantly more "lifelike" dashboard without the need for complicated hand-painting.

The add-on is designed for Airfix and Trumpeter kits and is also recommended for the Trumpeter Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIC/Mk.IID. It stands out best with the cockpit open, but it also makes sense if you want to keep the interior detailed even with the overlay closed - in 1:24 scale the difference is still noticeable. Before gluing, it's a good idea to do a "dry run" test and, if necessary, lightly modify the original plastic panel according to the specific kit so that the etch sits cleanly and without gaps.
