Vallejo Diorama FX 26809 Industrial Thick Mud Thick Mud Textures (200 ml)
Modeling effects gel from Vallejo Diorama Effects range designed to realistically represent surfaces and natural textures on dioramas and models. Ideal for creating water, mud, sand, snow or other natural effects. 200 ml pack.
Vallejo Diorama FX 26809 Industrial Thick Mud Texture (200 ml) is a thick muddy texture from the Vallejo Diorama FX range in an industrial thick mud finish. It is suitable for vehicle tracks, wet earth, chassis, tracks, road edges, and realistic terrain weathering.
You can apply the texture directly to the terrain or to the vehicle model. For a natural result, combine multiple layer thicknesses: a thin film for dried mud, thicker layers around tracks, fenders, and road edges.
Technical Information and Recommendations
- Type: Acrylic thick muddy texture for dioramas
- Volume: 200 ml
- Use: Mud, wet earth, vehicle tracks, chassis, tracks, bases, and terrain scenes
- Application: Brush, old brush, spatula, or dabbing with a sponge according to the desired structure
- Layering: Apply gradually; thicker layers dry longer and create more pronounced relief
- Enhancing the effect: Combine with pigments, washes, and drybrushing
- Primer: Vallejo Surface Primer
- Tools: Modelling brushes
For Diorama FX effect products, it is best to work in layers: first prepare the base, then create the main texture, and finally add local shadows, pigments, drybrushing, or glossy/wet effects. This way, the texture will naturally integrate with the rest of the model and will not appear as a separate mass placed on the surface.
