Vallejo Diorama FX 26232 Sandy Paste Ground Textures (35 ml) is a Vallejo Diorama FX sandy texture paste for fine ground, roads, desert surfaces and display bases.
Apply it with a spatula, old brush or modelling tool directly onto the base. After drying it can be painted, shaded, drybrushed and combined with pigments. It works for military dioramas, figure bases, sci-fi terrain and wargaming tables where a plain flat base would look empty.
Practical workflow
- Seal the base first and tint large areas with a darker ground colour.
- Apply the texture in sensible layers and let it dry fully before painting.
- For a more natural result, combine acrylic colours, washes, drybrushing and pigments.
