Vallejo Diorama Effects are specially developed pastes and gels designed for creating realistic scenes and dioramas. Each type of material - from thick gels to muddy mixtures to water effects - faithfully mimics the real textures and colours of the landscape.
The product is applied directly to the substrate using a brush, spatula or other tool. The density and translucency of the material allows for different depths, layers and water or soil movement effects. For a more realistic impression, it is recommended to apply the effect on a substrate previously painted with a darker shade.
Drying time depends on the thickness of the layer - usually about 24 hours.
Diorama Effects are water thinnable, odourless and non-toxic.
They can be combined with other Vallejo products, pigments and acrylic paints.
