Tamiya 87183 Paint Remover (250ml) removes acrylic, enamel and lacquer paints as well as polycarbonate paints. It is kind to part surfaces, has a low odour and can also strip metal plating.
Tamiya 87183 handles Tamiya acrylic, enamel and lacquer paints, including paints for polycarbonate bodies. According to Tamiya, it is gentle on part surfaces and does not cloud polycarbonate. It can also strip plating from chromed parts. The liquid is water-soluble and low in odour.
Tamiya points out that it is not suitable for ABS, may cloud clear styrene and may not always remove other brands' paints. It contains organic solvents. Supplied in a 250 ml plastic bottle.
