The Victory was Admiral Lord Nelson’s flagship during the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. He achieved a spectacular victory over Napoleon’s fleet with this flagship, but was mortally wounded during the battle. The Victory has survived to this day and is preserved in Portsmouth, England.
