The M24 Chaffee tank was used primarily by the U.S. Army in reconnaissance units during World War II. With its two 148 HP Cadillac engines, it was fast enough to outrun the enemy in time. However, if combat broke out, it could defend itself effectively with its 7.5 cm cannon.
