PBY-5A PART I 1/48 recommended for REVELL / EDUARD
Eduard BIG49479 PBY-5A PART I 1/48 is a Big Ed bundle of four sets for the PBY-5A Catalina amphibian: TFace masks and three Space sets for the cockpit and rear interior. Intended for the Revell and Eduard kits.
The Big Ed bundle BIG49479 brings together four Eduard sets for the PBY-5A in 1/48 scale that are also sold separately: the EX1182 PBY-5A TFace masks and the Space 3D decal sets 3DL48285 for the cockpit, 3DL48286 for the rear interior and 3DL48291 with the ribs and spars of the rear interior. Eduard recommends the bundle for the Revell and Eduard kits.
The Space sets are pre-painted 3D decals that add raised, colourful detail to the cockpit and the roomy fuselage interior, while the TFace masks cover the glazing both outside and inside. The Consolidated PBY-5A Catalina was the amphibian version of the American flying boat with retractable undercarriage, used during the Second World War. The exterior, undercarriage and floats are covered by the PBY-5A PART II bundle (BIG49480). The plastic kit itself is not included.
